TestGuy is pleased to announce some exciting new improvements coming to the Tech Quiz! Our developers have been working hard to provide a better and more accurate testing experience for the community, check out what we have in store:
1. More Accurate Practice Exams
ETT practice exam question spreads are now formulated using exam specifications found in the official NETA study guide and detailed course outlines from NETA. Each test should feel more like the real thing with less overlap between exam levels.
2. New Quiz Choices
We’ve added more tech quiz choices to help you hone in on the core subjects found in the NETA detailed course outlines. New subjects include protective relays, insulating liquids, and cables.
3. Improved Live Hints
The live hints feature has been improved by adding links to the corresponding study guide along with new aesthetics.
4. Bug Fixes
-Missed questions list numbering sequence now shows correct order
-Breakdown by category now sorts from lowest to highest score
-Added study guide links to breakdown category
-Changed passing score requirement to 82%
-Updated NETA exam calculator link
-Various code performance enhancements
We will be entering a BETA phase and pushing the update sometime this afternoon once user activity is at a minimum. Users may experience errors or bugs while in BETA, we ask that you report these to the support team so we can get them fixed promptly. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience users may experience during this upgrade process.
