Do you have any other information on this question? The phrase "before acceptance testing" stands out to me, nearly every component in NETA-ATS starts with "Compare equipment nameplate data with drawings and specifications."

A. Inspect devices for proper settings and installation completeness - Possible, however the question states "before acceptance testing begins" which implies that once testing begins, settings are going to get changed around and components are going to get un-wired - all of which will need to be checked upon completion. Usually the last thing we do for acceptance testing is a final visual inspection and settings check.

B. Perform a seismic drop test on each device to be installed - Um, no.

C. Inspect devices for variations from design specifications - Like I stated earlier, almost everything in NETA-ATS starts with "compare equipment to drawings and specifications". You need to be sure the correct equipment is in place before testing it.

D. B and C - Nope.

E. A and C - Possible but I personally lean towards C only.
