Hi guys,
I need to perform VLF test on one set cable. The cable rating is 12/20 kV but opeation voltage is 15 kV. So what is the right VLF Test ratings for these cables?
Thanks.

If the cable is rated for 20kV then I would say 26kV for Acceptance and 20kV for Maintenance as shown in the table above from IEEE 400.2.

And some of the cable has 6/10 cable rating but operating voltage is 1725 volts. And what is the correct voltage level for this cables?

One thing I forgot to mention is to be aware of the termination and connected equipment as you should not exceed those ratings also.
As for voltages to test at, they are all in the table.
VLF is performed at the cable rating(or limiting component), and tan delta is based on operating voltage to ground.

Oh, I guess to answer what the test voltage is when it is not on the table, requires a little more investigation on your part as you will have to find the manufacturer data on the cable to determine the test values.
