ETT Level 1 Study Guide Contents
The ETT Trainee Level I classification offers an entry-level gateway into the electrical testing industry. Typical duties include providing assistance to higher level technicians, pre- and post-test sequence assembly and disassembly, and performing simple measurements and/or tests under direct supervision.
While there are no requirements for related work experience in the electrical testing industry, candidates are required to have a high school or general equivalency diploma (GED). Candidates are expected to complete sufficient training to become familiar with the principles of the electrical testing industry, the practices of applicable electrical testing techniques, and necessary safety requirements applicable to Level I.
There is no exam required to get started except those that may be required by an individual employer.
