I took the NETA 4 today. there are absolutely zero questions from this NETA 4 study guide that are on the actual test (at least the version i took). there are variations of the 4 just as there are of 2 and 3. I only had about 3 level 3 questions on the test. the remaining questions were challenging.
Several distance relaying questions, several KWH standard questions, a few breaker tripping scenario questions, and a lot of power calculations. I also ran into several rotating machinery questions. A lot of these were very difficult for me as i am not well versed on the construction of older motors.
Study all aspects of the topics listed above if you are scheduled to take this test.
