    EATON Magnum DS with 1150+

Came across a number of Magnum DS breakers in service with Rating Plugs that do not match the Sensor Ratings.

Eaton documentation states that CT's ratio must match the rating plug rating.

Rating plugs state "Use only with (Rating) Sensors"

I interpret this if you change one you must change the other(s) so both match.

This seems to lower the flexibility factor quite a bit. Am I missing something?

Was there a good reason for EATON to do this?

Does anyone know what the protections results are if they are not matched?

    Thanks

    Pat
