How to reset solid state trip logs, sorted by manufacturer and trip unit type

You should always reset the event log in solid state trip units after testing but unfortunately user manuals are not always available. This is an attempt to build a quick reference of solid state trip units and how to reset their trip log. This list will be updated periodically. General Electric

    EntelliGuard and MicroEntelliguard TU

    Reset event log
    1. Scroll to EVENT tab on main screen
    2. Press UP and DOWN arrows simultaneously
    3. Verify Event 0 is blank

    MicroVersaTrip Plus and PM

    Clearing the trip information
    • With the Trip Unit in Status mode, hold down the VALUE key and press the SELECT key. The trip information is then cleared and the display reverts to STATUS OK.

    Clearing the Trip Operations Counter
    • To clear a particular counter, first display the corresponding count, then hold down the VALUE key and press the SELECT key. The trip counter is reset to zero.

    Power+
Trip Targets - To determine the condition causing a breaker trip, press the VIEW button. One of the three target LEDs will light. The RESET button clears the trip target indication.

    Utility Relay Company

    AC-Pro

    Clearing the Last Trip Data
    1. No security key jumper wire
    2. Press the REVIEW button to display the last trip data
    3. Push and hold both UP and DOWN buttons
    4. While still holding the UP and DOWN buttons, press the SAVE button
    5. Release all three buttons
    6. “NO LAST TRIP” is displayed

    EATON / Cutler-Hammer

    Digitrip models 1150, 1150i, 1150+, and 1150i+

    • No reset. The event data is stored in nonvolatile RAM and is maintained on a first-in, first-out basis.
