    Safety-Electrical Cord for Substation

    Is there any safety requirements in using an electrical cords inside the substation?

    The only thing I can think of is to protect them from being driven over as the gravel can damage them fairly easily.

    From what I have seen there aren't any special rules for using an extension cord in a substation. Use of GFCI would be recommended depending on the equipment you are using.
