On a typical IAC overcurrent relay, the target and seal in coil is in series with which of the following?
Instantaneous unit
None of the other answers are correct
Time Unit

To be honest I'm not a fan of most of the questions in the quizzes on this site but most times seal in coil is in series with time element trip contact on the old electromechanical units.Originally Posted by jflan13

The seal-in unit has its coil in series and its contacts in parallel with the contacts of the time-overcurrent unit, such that when the induction unit contacts close, the seal-in unit picks up and seals in. When the seal-in unit picks up, it raises a target into view, which latches up and remains exposed until released by pressing a button.
