    Complete the power triangle

    Complete the power triangle given 127.58 VAR and 150.11 VA

    79.1 W, 58.2 PF

    127.49 W, 31.79 PF

    49.02 W, 31.79 PF

    79.1 W, 49.02 PF

    Mark For Later Review

    I believe the correct answer should be 79.1 watts, 52.7 power factor.

    You might want to check your work for the power factor portion, but
    I think they shouldn't call it PF but the angle since cos of theta is 0 - 1, not 58.2
    answer I would select is 79.1 W, 58.2 PF

    P=sqrt((150.11^(2))-(127.8^(2)))= 79.1 W
    sin^(-1)(127.58/150.11) = 58.2 degrees

    PF = cos(58.2) = 0.5269 = 0.53
