Fluke Leads with alligator clip recommendations

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone recommend some good fluke leads with alligator clips? During routine testing I will usually follow out a DC circuit and I want something that will clamp on to ground so I don't have to constantly use 2 hands to get a reading.

Guess it really depends on your preference. I like the below linked leads, because they are interchangeable and the clips work fairly securely.

While not alligator clip leads I like to use these leads when testing DC systems as you can twist them to put an insulating sleeve down the prob to decrease the exposed surface area of the tip. Making it less likely that the tip will short between 2 phases.

I usually will forego using a standard fluke lead while doing this kind of testing. You can get by using a good lead wire with a banana plug at one end to plug into your multimeter and any kind of alligator clip at the other end to clamp on to the other point. If you want, send me a PM with your e-mail and I can send you a matrix that I use for purchasing test leads, it's got pretty much anything you could want on there.
